Bio:
Barbie Corbett Newmin has had a lifelong passion for art and travel. Many of her photographic works offer broadened horizons and knowledge…or beauty, humor or the unusual. She has sold creative works as an oil painter, water colorist, ceramic artist (trained at historic Pewabic Pottery), copper enameler, and photographer. Much of Barbie’s professional graphic arts experience was as an employee or owner of award-winning Detroit area advertising agencies. She served on the Board of the Paint Creek Center for the Arts in Rochester, Michigan, and was a Founders Society member, Detroit Institute of Arts. She is currently a member of the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County, Florida, and is booked from November 1, 2014 to 2016 in their Art in Public Places Program.
Three diverse examples of photography are attached, they are prominently signed and/or date-stamped, unusable samples only and are different from the salable work which is on my web site.
Barbie Corbett-Newmin can be reached by email via her website.
