Biography: We are a German born couple who happily shares their passions together since many years: photography and travel. Since retirement we travel most of the year and now are able to concentrate fully on photography as a second profession. We spend summer times up in the Polar Regions and winter times in the tropics of Central America or in southern Europe. We love the experience of getting to know different cultures, exploring the diverse landscapes of our wonderful planet. Our greatest inspiration comes from mother nature. We always try to find all the little things which are mostly overseen, to capture the essence of it with the lenses of our cameras - often as minimalistic as possible - which is Heiko’s favorite art. In our portfolio, you will find for example macro images of only 0,20 inches small and smaller flowers of the polar regions, which most people even do not realize that they are blooming under their feet. The colorful world of lichens, rock formations sculptured by water and wind, different forms of water, like drops, waves, spray, the blue ice of glaciers. But, you also will find images in the overwhelming colors and forms of the tropical flora and fauna: for example one of the most beautiful, but endangered, birds on our earth, the Magnificent Quetzal, as well as the little flying jewels, the hummingbirds. There are images of the beauty in everyday life in the different countries, architecture, urban landscapes, technique, industry, the charm of the old, portraits of people.

During my travels, years as a therapist, and teacher, I realize each individual has a story. Within that story, is a loveliness all their own. My hope is that each art piece takes you on your own personal journey to discover the loveliness in and around you. My work is a collection of photographs taken from around the world. Photos that capture the wonder, expansiveness, and beauty in the world around us. May they enhance and brighten your day! http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/lynnrmorris.html I'm Robert Weiman from Mountain Peaks Gallery. First of all I would like to personally thank you for viewing my images. I appreciate that, knowing someone has enjoyed my photography and will remember it for a long time makes me feel satisfied.I grew up loving the outdoors and animals which has led to photography to share my visions. My eyes are like a camera shutter anymore. I strive to get a creative envisions in my mind beforehand and lots of planning. In the end a very unique photograph that will look stunning is what I like. I grew up somewhere with wolves in the backwoods of Wisconsin (LOL). I've always been fascinated with animals. Then came the artist creativity rearing its head along the way, Art class in school was my favorite, I enjoyed it a lot. Life's journey landed me in Montana with my wonderful wife. Frequently going to Yellowstone National Park with all of this nature at its finest moments readily available to me! After timeless travels to Yellowstone you know in general where you should find the animals and off the beaten paths. (Not to mention poor me being stuck in between the Tetons and Glacier National Park). One day telling a friend about it, he suggested purchasing at camera to capture it. That leads me up to this point. Not wanting to leave the house without a camera in hand. After spending a lot of time in the outdoors scouting and patiently waiting for the brief 1/500th of a second to happen. A favorite new (relatively speaking) photo outing is spending days on end in Montana and Wyoming (sleeping in the middle of nowhere in the back of our pickup topper) looking for beautiful wild horses. Most people don’t think of horses as wildlife, but there are wild herds still today in our region. I quote like they say, "Life is like a camera... Focus on what's important capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot". Believe me, it takes a lot of clicking that shutter button before the Magic happens. Artist Bio: I have loved art since a very young age. The art I create is inspired by life and the human condition. It is how I view the world around me. Art is a lot like life, there is happiness, joy, sadness, ups and downs just like life. I see art in life and my passion is to express that in different mediums.
